When it comes to running and scaling a business in a succcessful and sustainable way, then a big part of that is making sure that things are automated properly. Not only does automation save you a lot of time from doing tasks that really aren’t within your zone of genius or expertise, but they also save you money because you’re not having to take time away from other tasks that you would otherwise be doing to bring in direct income.

So, if you’re currently struggling with getting things organized in your business and feel like you just don’t have enough hours in the day to do everything you have to do, then in this post we’re going to share with you some of our top tips for the areas of your business that should be automated to save you time, money and stress.

Marketing:

Although marketing is a highly important area of any business and it is directly linked to income, it’s also something that should be automated because you can end up spending too much time on marketing that you’re not able to get anything else done in your business such as sales or actually doing the work that brought those clients in you marketed to.

The great thing about automating your marketing is that it basically allows you to create more leads and also generate more income on repeat, so it creates a lot of freedom in your business simply by automating tasks that you’d otherwise be doing manually, such as posting on social media, publishing blog posts, sending out emails, etc.

Once you have your marketing set up and automated, it really does make a big difference in all areas of your business.

Hiring:

Although the hiring aspect of your business can’t and shouldn’t be fully automated since you’ll need to actually meet people when hiring them, a lot of the smaller tasks such as posting jobs, scheduling interviews snd even sending out contracts can all be automated and managed through things like project management systems and Human Resources software that you can set up once and then let it run on repeat.

Sales:

Like marketing, sales is a hugely important part of your business that really requires constant attention and development, and even though it’s also directly related to income generation, it’s something that can be easily automated, and definitely should be if you want to free up your time to focus on the more creative aspects of your business. Sales automation, for example can be set up through things like automated booking and scheduling on your calendar for sales appointments and meetings with potential clients and even through things like sales funnels that allow you to sell products and services on repeat.

Admin:

Admin is probably one area that most business owners don’t enjoy, so this is an area that definitely can and should be automated because it’s not really a money generating activity, although it’s still important. If you’re going to be automating any of the admin side of your business, then the best way to go about this is by hiring a VA to handle this for you because they’ll have the tools and software systems already to set this up properly.
