You know the importance of staying in touch with your existing customers, of course.

You can build trust, respect, and peace of mind when communicating to your customers about their orders, your special offers, and pieces of news that might be of interest to them.

You can make a profit too, as by staying in touch with your customers, you can remarket yourselves to them to ensure they don't forget about you.

So, let's look at just a few of the ways in which you can communicate to the people who matter to you the most; your customers, the lifeblood of your business.

#1: Collect customer feedback

Through email surveys, website forms, and other methods for collecting customer feedback, you can show your customers how much you care about their opinion on your business. This might increase their loyalty to you, as if you actively take steps to improve your business with their suggestions, you can cement the relationship you have with your customers.

#2: Send reminders

On a purely practical level, sending your customers an email or a text about their orders will do much to ease their minds when they're waiting for your product to arrive. You can also remind your customers on other matters pertaining to your business, such as time-limited special offers and events you might be holding. Messaged reminders are good for both you and your customers, so use textbetter, an extremely useful email to text service, or any other effective communication method to quickly reach your customers.

#3: Send a newsletter

You need to seek your customers' permission before adding them to your mailing list. They might only relegate your business to the spam box of their minds along with the spam box of their email accounts if you don't, so check with them first. However, once you have gained their permission, you will be able to remarket your business with newsletters containing information on special offers, upcoming flash sales, and expert tips that relate to the products you have sold them. You should also let them know of the content that your newsletters will provide, as if they know they have an incentive to read them, they are more likely to sign up to your mailing list.

#4: Invite them to special events

If your business is about to celebrate an anniversary, you might want to invite your customers along to your premises. You can then party the night away with them, and market your product while you're doing so. Other special events can include fundraisers, product unveilings, and even training workshops if there is something your business can do for your customers. Be sure to send out personlized invitations to make your customers feel extra special and to give them an incentive to join you at your event.

You neglect your existing customers at your peril, so use the communication methods we have suggested, and look for other ways to stay in touch with the people who regularly use your business. Greater profits and business success will surely follow.
