There are a million and one ways to market any brand and its products and services. Many of those strategies work to some degree. Do you run a business? If so, you might be wondering if there's something unconventional you could try.

Let's face it; anything you can do to stand out from the crowd will help your cause. You want to be known as a leader rather than a follower in your industry. One thing you might not have thought of is marketing your business premises.

That's right, promote your building rather than the stuff inside you're trying to sell! If done right, you can make your brand memorable - for all the right reasons, of course. Here are some crazy ideas that you could try to get your brand on the map:

Creative use of neon lights

Places like Las Vegas are full of neon lights! You see them on signs promoting hotels, casinos, resorts and other establishments. They are memorable because you seldom see neon signs in abundance in such a contained area. Using products from sites like www.neonfilter.com, your office can look like Vegas baby!

Neon lights can be quite delicate, so another option is the more energy-efficient and longer lasting LED neon artwork and signs - at Voodooneon.com you can buy an LED billboard sign quite cheaply.

Neon lights are versatile and can get designed any way you want. You could have a massive neon sign above the entrance to your office building. Or you could install a neon light billboard that is visible from a nearby road or highway. The opportunities are limitless!

Make the exterior look like something you've never seen before

People get excited when they see things that are both unusual but cool at the same time. Believe it or not, the same thing applies to architecture!

Naturally, you have to stick within the confines of local planning laws. Still, that doesn't mean you can't be different! There are all kinds of weird and wonderful things you can do to change your building's exterior. Just take a look at the featured image in this blog post as an example.

You could even do a twist on conventional architecture. How about sticking a shark on your roof? That's one surefire way to get people's attention!

Consider a bright and vibrant paint job

Are you thinking you'd prefer something a little tamer to make your premises stand out? Well, if you don't want to alter the physical structure, what about a new paint job instead?

Firms like Ghaster Commercial Painting can help you come up with all kinds of bold color schemes. One advantage a vibrant paint job has over a shark is that you can still see it in the dark. There's an idea: how about a glow-in-the-dark color scheme?

Interactive window displays

Have you got large bay windows at the ground floor of your building? If so, why not put some interactive window displays in them? People walking past your premises can get treated to all kinds of mesmerizing displays.

Architecture from another country

Last, but not least, why stick with the typical architecture found in your area? You could go wild and have a Chinese pagoda instead of a normal square building design!

I hope you’ve enjoyed reading this blog post. See you later!
